The Earthquake Strikes Again

Another Earthquake has hit a lot of buildings in Christchurch City Centre and it has caused a lot of damage. Even half of the Christchurch City people were sleeping in a tent with their pillows and quilt on the flat ground. Dorie school felt the aftershock during the lunch time while everyone was inside having their lunch. Some of the students had their first experience in the Earthquake. It was good that we were all together because it was easy to get everyone into a safe place.

Swimming Sports

On the 15 of February Dorie and Rakaia Schools had the swimming sports at Ashburton Community Pool. Dorie did really well and some children came 1st 2nd and 3rd. We practiced in our school pool and we had great weather so we could do lots of swimming.  We all had a very successful day.
