On Thursday 26th May, Dorie School dressed up as their favourite book character. Mrs Townshend dressed up as a pirate from 'The man whose mother was a pirate', Ms Reader dressed up as Casper, Miss A dressed up as Pippy Long Stockings, Ms Walls dressed up as the BFG and Mrs Benny dressed up as Harry Hobnail from 'Pungapeople'. We had a parade in the morning to show off our costumes (and great modelling skills!) It was a fabulous day!!

I saw some really good costumes at book character day!! Everyone did really well and thought up some really good ideas. Congrats to the winners! There costumes were spectacular!
