On Wednesday the 1st of June the Year 7 and 8's went to a leadership day in Christchurch. It is a day where all the students from around Canterbury go to listen to many different speakers.
The first speaker we had was Pat Buckley. He talked about making the right decisions. Then we had Allison Mooney. She talked about how every ones personality is different. Our third speaker was Adam Hall who is a paralimpic skier. He talked about when he won his gold medal and how he achieved it.
The we had Christian Cullen. He said, you don't have to follow your friends. Then we had Jason Gunn, he was so funny and he talked about how he got his job as a television presenter.
It was an awesome day and we should go next year.

I agree, leadership day was awesome and I so hope we can go again next year! All the speakers were great and I enjoyed every minute of National Young Leaders Day!!

The National Young Leaders day Course was so cool - The speakers were great and I think I learnt a lot from the speakers, the information we got will be great help for the future. I really want to go next year!
