At the moment for Availll we are watching Bridge To Terabithia. On the first day we did Take a dictionary to the movies. For that we are in groups and we have a letter each. The student assistants would pause the movie and then they would call out a letter. The persons who's letter was called out would look up the hardest word on the screen in the dictionary. The next activity was surprise subtitles. The student assistants pause the movie and we have to write down the subtitle we last saw on the screen.
We will be finishing Bridge To Teribithia this Thursday.

You guys seem to have done some really interesting activities using AVAIL. I wonder what skills you have learnt and what you have got better at. Which is your favourite so far?

my favourite one was next word hunt because i got a high score 22 for that plus a certificate. Faiz's favourite activity was take a dictionary to the movie. we still do AVAILLL in our new school but it is just for yr 8s and 6s.
